Okay folks, so two things to talk about. Number one: I want to give an update on the market as well as plays. and then number two. I want to talk about what the heck just happened with Amc today.

Lots of ooga, lots of booga. I want to talk about exactly what triggered this and whether this is going to lead to the mother of all squeezes that everybody has been speculating on since early this year, what the data suggests, and what we should be looking for as we approach tomorrow and the rest of the week. And the only thing that I ask in return for all of this is that you hit that ravishing like button and also don't forget to subscribe either. Also, quick plug.

Let's say that you are a buy and hold trader who is fed up with controversial practices such as payment for order flow. Well, today I'm very happy to announce a new partnership with Public.com Public.com is what I see is one of the best brokers right now. If you're a long-term buy and hold conviction trader, they have a very intuitive platform. They treat their customers right, and of course they don't have payment for order flow.

So if you are broker curious and you'd like to take your power back as a retail trader, click the link below Public.com ziptrader and if you sign up using that link, you'll get not just a free stock, but you'll have access to an excellent platform. Also, as you know, I have different brokers for different purposes and I always have had for Public.com This is going to slowly become my long-term hold broker and if you want to hear my full thoughts on the pros and cons of the controversial topic of payment for order flow, I'll also link to the video I did on that below as well. Okay, let's get right into it. Pretty nice day for small caps.

Overall flat, slightly green day for the overall market. Nasdaq leading The best way to characterize the market condition is yawn. lukewarm. selling lukewarm.

buying back and forth, blah blah blah similar to what we saw last year in the Fall. That's okay though. Breathing time is healthy. We don't care if it's going up massively.

We don't care if it's going down massively. We don't care if it's slower. Just like hey, this is great, We're just happy to be market participants. We did see some exciting Mr.

Exciting news from Ford. They've doubled their production target for their electric F-150s because of massive demand. Massive. And even with this doubling of production capacity, apparently it's still not enough.

Truth be told, these demand numbers that we're seeing from Ford and really across the industry are suggesting that hey, those reluctant people that said hey, Evs are too slow, Evs are too costly, eevees aren't practical enough are starting to cave more and more into the Ev market. People are realizing that hey Evs are very, very competitive with gasoline vehicles though I will be the first to tell you they don't sound as good. But the favorable trends into the Ev sector has really shown in Ford's numbers, not just on their surprising beat of demand on the Mach E that they released, but now the F-150 Ford is quickly turning itself into a future massive Ev player, and the heritage of the company is quite frankly converting lots of eevee haters into eevee buyers. And with the Ford F-150 being the most popular truck and really vehicle in the United States, it's no doubt that Ford is likely to convert some of the untapped markets in this country.
If you're somebody who drives a truck right now, what would it take for Ford to convince you to convert to Ev if the truck was cheaper, looked the same, was more powerful, and overall, you got a big subsidy for it. Would you convert to it? Draftkings is up a bit today ahead of their analyst heavy conference panel tomorrow. They also announced a multi-year deal with Simple Bet where the king of drafts will be using their technology to engage with their sports by what's called micro betting betting play-by-play throw by throw and pitch by pitch throughout a sporting event. It also allows draftkings to offer micro betting products for the Nfl, the Mlb, and the Nba.

I like that idea of being able to bet on individual moves play-by-play if you have a favorite player that you've been watching for many years and you basically memorized how he reacts to different events in a game, would be very interesting to wager on something like that. Play by play. Probably true that we'll hear more about this and more clarification tomorrow at the conference. So looking forward to that.

Okay, Amc up over 30 at highest today, up 50 since Lowe's two trading days ago. Ooga Dambuga stock that people love to hate and yell. you're gonna be a bag holder if you keep holding it. Well, I guess those people had to look away today because this just obliterated short sellers and was a huge validation for everybody who's holding it.

I can already hear all the media keyboards typing trying to explain this one away. This was just an extended vaccine approval rally. This is up because of some hype around free Guy that Ryan Reynolds movie having good sales. This is up because people accidentally push the buy button, but they don't realize that this is fundamentally overvalued because movie theaters are struggling.

But in all honesty, why did it run well? It's difficult to pinpoint a direct catalyst, of course, and we don't have the full data yet because reporting is delayed and sometimes never even out. But as we've been talking about the last couple of weeks, we've seen more and more institutional money taking long, concentrated bets in this. But just yesterday we were talking about how there's also more strategic cell attacks on every update, showing some strong evidence that short sellers have been very, very effective at controlling the upcycles so as to prevent a bull run like we saw in June. they are willing to let Amc run to a certain point and then all of a sudden all this massive selling pressure and predictable selling pressure comes out of thin air.
We've seen so many examples of controlled sell-offs during the last six months, really of Amc, but basically controlling bull runs is one of the most effective ways for short sellers to control their risk of being margin called and systematically reduce retail investor interest in the stock at the same time. So what I think happened with Amc stock is that the heat got turned up the last couple of days and so they attempted to institute a controlled sell-off, which then backfired as a ton of buy orders flew in. Now were these buy orders more institutional or more retail based? Well, it's probably a combination of both. If players like Renaissance Technologies are longing this, I wouldn't be surprised if other funds are trying to long this as well.

I also think that there's a lot of sidelined retail money that's willing to pour in the minute that Amc shows some substantial proof of concept, which today it did. And this leads you to the inevitable question: Is this going to lead to the so-called legendary moass that everybody's dreaming about? This has indeed been one of the best attempts at a breakout that we've had since June. Well, let's back up for a second. If you want a massive short squeeze rally, you need two things.

Number one: you need there to be a stock that has a ton of short sellers attacking it. Amc is that. check Number two: You need a strong reluctance to sell the stock below the short price. Despite the sell-offs we've had since June highs, it's still many multiples above what it would have been without the ape hodeling situation, so Amc qualifies for that as well.

Check. Now, if you have just these two factors: eventually Shorts will have to cover at higher prices and you will get a squeeze. Now, the problem with that situation, as we know, is that you can defer for a very, very, very long time and eventually people might lose interest. But the factor in action moving up that time horizon is introducing a ton of buying pressure.

The more buying pressure comes in and the faster that happens, the more the heat is turned up on short sellers, and eventually the point of no return comes where the first major short position has to be margin cold, and once that covers, it forces all the other ones to fold as well. But that only becomes a systematic and immediate risk if there's a massive flow of buying pressure. Otherwise, you just have to wait until the Shorts themselves induce the buying pressure. Which is why back in June, you saw so many people start talking about this, Because if that momentum had continued, a lot of the bigger short sellers would have to start immediately folding their positions and that would have caused a race to the top to find shares to buy.
and with retail traders holding a majority of the float at that time, that would have caused a massive mass of molasses. So again, the really big question here is if there's going to be enough buying pressure in this to force a squeeze to happen a lot earlier than otherwise would happen. Obviously, the goal of short sellers is to defer this to oblivion until people lose interest and go home, but they start losing the ability to defer when it starts rallying massively because of margin calls. Because of risk management protocols, you can't lose 5 million on a position.

So when looking at today's rally and the rally the last couple of days, the fact of the matter is that the heat is being turned up on short sellers once again. and the more green days we have, the more likely that you have more and more Momentum traders trying to pour in, the more likely that the heat gets turned up even higher, and the more tense the situation becomes. In an alternate reality where Amc stopped having green days like this, this would become a much, much longer waiting game because there'd be no pressure on short sellers to cover sooner than expected. I mean, they pay margin fees, but it's abysmal compared to how much they pay if they decided to cover.

Now now with that being said, what are we going to see the rest of the week? Well, we should see some cell attacks. The cell attacks that we saw this morning didn't really work so well did they. But as we've seen in the past, sellers want to make sure that this is controlled before this starts getting out of hand and bringing in the rest of the army who start seeing the momentum and proof of concept again and starts buying and taking all that sideline dough and tries to pour it back into the stock. Funny thing about this place, it's criticized so much even amongst the retail community from retail trader tarito trader and the reason is because so many people associate it with mindlessly holding.

They joke about eating crayons, they joke about being smooth-minded apes. Sometimes they watch youtubers that say ooga-booga and scream a lot and people think hey, that's stupid, they're making a joke of this market. This is a serious market, but regardless of how you feel about the whole situation, you can't deny this is very, very stubborn. It's that buy and hold stubborn mentality that has made this a play that stuck around for so long and has had so many different hype cycles.

There have been very, very few plays at least that I can remember where retail traders refuse to leave and go home and cry every time you have a red day. Even plays that have great fundamental conviction and are very likely to do well in the upcoming years. people are like, oh no, it went down five percent. Okay, that was a scam.

I was wrong. I'm leaving. While I personally obviously don't agree with mindlessly holding stocks, I don't think that the average person is mindlessly holding it. I think they just act like they are because they think it's funny and saying buy and hotel is kind of entertaining.
And I do think that there are problems with ridiculously wrong due diligence and conclusions that are just frankly, conspiracy theories. But I think that the average person that's buying this gets the bigger picture here. I think that when it comes to a certain point, you have to agree that the staying power of this movement is very, very strong and creates a very interesting probability bet when you consider that shorts have to cover eventually. Now who the hell knows how this Amch situation is going to end.

But at the end of the day, this is something that really shook up the industry and is always going to be remembered regardless of the outcome. But moving forward, what tends to happen is when retail squeeze leaders like Amc or Gme start going up, you start to have sympathy rallies in some of the smaller meme stocks like Clove for example. so we'll definitely be watching some of those meme stocks and tracking them as well and doing some pre-market prep on those, so I'll keep you posted there. And we'll be reflecting on those in the nightly videos too.

So anyways, folks, what do you think about this Amc situation? Is this the last rally before the endless drop that takes Amc to zero dollars? Or is this the beginning of something special? Nice work man, I advise everyone to consider the predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculation and guesswork. The market is very volatile and you cannot tell if it is going bearish or bullish. While the others and I are tradn without fear of making a loss, the others are patient that the price will skyrocket. It all depends on the pattern you follow. There are many who believe that the real float is far exceeded by the number of shares in people's accounts. Financial intuitions are required to disclose their holdings.
I am assuming that the retail platforms are not required to disclose the number of shares total held by their clients. Is this true?
I find it crazy that no one can defiantly say how many total shares are out there.

As always, great job and very entertaining. You're clearly well educated and passionate Charlie. Two qualities I admire. Whether it's AMC or GME or God knows how many other short interest plays going on right now , I believe what's important to remember is that we've changed the game. Forever. Do the people doing the DD always get it right? No. But, they keep digging. For a group of individuals that don't have the degree in finance to fall back on, I give them all the props in the world. But ultimately Charlie, it comes down to a word I hear you use quit often. Conviction. It is the one thing we all share in this play. Conviction. I couldn't be prouder than I am to be a part of this.
