Okay folks, so I want to talk to you about one specific three dollar stock. This is a stock that has skyrocketed in the past, but because of the current market condition. Well, you're seeing a lot of panicking and this is starting to get into good deal range. It's also true that this morning it had a huge catalyst that no one's talking about because everybody would rather focus on the fear.

But of course, here at Ziptrader, it's my goal to help you see through the fear and analyze whether these are actually good deals at these prices. And I want to make the case for this play and we will be talking about that in a few minutes. But first, I do want to give you an overall update on the market condition as well as some of our big plays and what my thought process is on them. Let's be real.

This week we had one of the most intense sell-offs in months and a lot of you are feeling both excited, but also very anxious. You're thinking, hmm, what if this just keeps dipping, What if it just never comes back and you're seeing conflicting headlines, some saying that, hey, the market's going to bounce back really fast and then others saying hey, the market, This is just the beginning. This is a huge bubble that's going to pop and everybody's going to be destroyed. So I want to talk really quickly about a quote that I always go back to.

When it comes to these market conditions, you've probably heard the quote. The time to buy is when there is blood in the streets, but you probably don't realize that's not the full quote. In fact, the full quote is that the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets, even if some of that blood is your own. It's saying that you should buy when there's blood in the streets, but it's also admitting that some of that blood could be your own.

I like this quote because it reminds us of the humility of the market. The stock market at the end of the day is not something that's in our control, but what we do in the stock market is in our control. The dude who set this quote was Baron Roth's child, an extremely wealthy, influential, and notorious banker in Britain in the 1800s. He understood that while he was extremely rich, well connected, intelligent, all that good stuff, well, even his own blood would be shed in the streets when you have a market-wide panic.

and that's something that wasn't in his control. And it's not in our control either. But what was in his control and what is in our control is what we do when everything's panicking, what we do when there's blood in all the streets. But practically speaking, we've all had a bad week.

Almost everything lost money this week, but regardless of whether the sell-off continues or we see a rebound as early as next week, regardless of what happens, this is a very important lesson. You will see cycles of huge sell-offs in the years and decades to come, but your success in the stock market is determined not by how many panics there are and how many people are shedding blood in the streets. Your success in the stock market is determined by what you do when all of this is going on. Anyways, folks, let's get to work.
So the only thing that I ask of you in return for this video is that you hit that ravishing like button. And also don't forget to subscribe. Quick recap on some of our good deal plays. So pltr.

We've seen Pltr underperform even during some of the biggest market bounces this week. The reason, in my opinion, is because of the combination of share lock-up expirations where the insiders are now selling some of their shares. I'm seeing all over media. people trying to blast headlines with.

insiders are selling all their shares. If you actually look at each insider and how many shares they're selling versus how many shares they actually have in the company, I mean it's like nothing. One of the insiders sold like three percent of his total shares And people like he's bailing on the company. If you're bailing on a company, why would you only sell three percent of your shares? But of course you combine those bad headlines with a market that wants to panic and sell off as well as a company that already doesn't enjoy good coverage from the media, and this is what you get.

Doesn't matter that when you have a stock that's actually worth a lot more trading at a price that doesn't make sense, then eventually the value comes through, you just have to be patient. Okay, on the same token, this morning, in our daily morning briefing, I posted a list of stocks that Kathy Wood and Arkan Vest Dip bought on Thursday sell-off. This is of course, part of our commitment to help you guys find good deals, but they have also been snapping up a lot of our plays. They bought Acic Sklz.

They also bought Workhorse during the dip on two separate occasions. It's actually funny on Thursday when Ark did bought Workhorse for a second time, I was actually typing to Zip Trader You Members that our workhorse did play was doing well because Arc bought the dip once again And then before I could even breathe, the Bears started pouncing in on that rally and I'm using Workhorse as an example. But you've been seeing this with a lot of the other plays that they're buying too. Another thing we talked about this morning was Xl Fleet.

Now, Xl Fleet has been one of my least favorite plays, but this morning they announced a partnership with Ubs Arena and New York Islanders. According to the press release, this may give them access to a 43-acre site and this project has the potential to become one of the largest electric vehicle charging stations in the United States. And this may give Exo Fleet a huge opportunity to prove themselves the efficiency of their business model, as well as perhaps attract some other clientele. Okay, next Neo.

So you want to keep an eye on this folks. They have earnings coming out next week, as well as deliveries. They announce deliveries on the first or second business day of each month, so you want to make sure that you're watching this because this is trading very low. I reported earlier this week that competitor Lee had a good earnings report, and they generally get the end or sorry, the shite, end of the stick when it comes to the Chinese eevee market.
So perhaps that's indicative that Neo is going to perform. Okay folks, now it's time that we talk about the stock. You guys have all been waiting for the three dollar stock. That may be a very good deal Right now.

I'm curious to see how many of you guys are thinking the same way that I'm thinking with this play. Let me know if you have a guess on what stock we're going to be talking about in the comment section below, but don't read the other comments because then probably it's going to give it away. So comment first, what stock and then unpause this video and see if you were right. But the stock we're going to be talking about is Idex Ideonomics.

and obviously we've talked about this one in the past. But with this sell-off and the news that came out this morning that this is a new member of the Kellstart program in California, I've been really, really taking a hard look at the business model here and trying to determine what this could be worth. And while I've praised a lot of their Ev investments, I have criticized them for not having a clear focus. but I think it's really worth taking a look at all the different parts of this business to actually value what this is worth.

They have Solar Track, which is the first North American company to offer 100 battery-powered electric tractors, They have Tree Electric, which provides Ev mopeds and bikes, and eventually their goal is to provide Ev buses, trucks, cars, and light rails as well. They also have a fairly recent addition, Medici Motorworks, which is planning to sell their trucks and buses in North America in 2021, but one of my favorite holdings of theirs is Wave. This is a wireless Ev charging technology that you drive over and it charges your vehicle and it charges your vehicle without ever having to plug in. That makes the whole process a lot more convenient, but it also means a lot more down the line when you have autonomous vehicles that can't go and reach to grab the charging stick or the charging cord and plug it.

in. This way, an autonomous vehicle can just drive over it and then boom, you're charging. I think what they're doing kind of unintentionally is they're building a huge ecosystem where you have the Ev cars, You have Ev charging stations, You have the opportunities for different subscription services via charging as a service and battery swapping as a service. Then you have financing for Evs and then really speculating.

Some of the real estate companies they own could also help them build charging stations and acquire real estate to have charging stations running throughout the United States and in other countries. If you look at their Medici Motor Works, for example, Medici Motorworks is going to be providing heavy duty trucks and buses. What do those need? Well, they need charging. Ideonomics has a solution for that.
Wave Wave is specifically meant for heavy duty trucks and buses, and it's also going to probably expand into much smaller passenger vehicles as well. But by offering trucks and buses and also offering the charging technology for said trucks and buses, they have the opportunity to build in some automatic demand for Wave if you sell a truck from Medici. now you have a client that can go to Wave if you incentivize them enough. And then you have Tree Trek where they are already offering battery as a service similar to how Neo does their own battery swapping in China, but Tree Electric, like we said earlier, is also planning on building their own electric cars, buses, and trucks themselves.

If they're offering battery swapping for their mopeds, why wouldn't they also offer it for their other vehicles? Ideonomics themselves state in their strategy that they are trying to attack the Eevee market on all fronts, focusing not just on vehicle and battery sales, but also on the charging and energy services, which they interestingly note not just revenue from Wave Wireless charging products, but also charging as a service and battery swap programs. Now, I don't know if they mean that that is going to be done through Tree Electric, because Tree Electric also provides those services in Malaysia, but it seems that they are trying to build an ecosystem here, and it also seems like any vehicles they sell in this category can be a boom for services offered in this category as well. If you buy a vehicle from an ideonomic company, they could give you a certain incentive to use the financing the charging stations, the subscription models that benefit other ideonomics companies. They could use each of these acquisitions together to give you a really full experience and also lock you in as a customer.

What you're going to see is you're going to see continued investment in this ecosystem to try to build out that whole model and the success of Wave and Tree Electric, and the launch of Medici Motors, which will be developing a line of heavy trucks and buses, it's hard not to see a lot of opportunity here. and with their membership in Kel Start, they may now have a greater ability to accelerate that progress as well. Past, I have been critical of Idecs and I'm still critical of Idex. I think that they've over exposed themselves to certain different sectors.

Like, for example, while I see them building an ecosystem in terms of Evs, I also see them going and expanding into blockchain, expanding into real estate, expanding into some other parts of fintech that I just. I believe in those sectors. but I wish they would just focus on one sector. But the more that I look at this as sort of an ecosystem, the more that I could sort of see where they're coming from with a lot of these investments.
But I think that you combine some of these good investments, some of the proof of concept they've already had, and you combine that with the fact that we're getting very, very cheap and it's looking like this isn't such a bad deal. And to be completely fair to Idecs, they do have some good fintech companies. Hemios can definitely help Idexx grow, doing about a billion dollars worth of closings a month and has racked up more than 380 000 transactions so far according to investor place, and they just announced an expansion of their business in California on February 19th. Anyways, folks, let me know what you think in the comment section below.

I think they trade “cheap” for a reason. There lack of focus is not where there interest and buzz is coming from. At first glance they are a gold mine .. but when u look deeper… They are trying to do to much to soon. When happens this soon u don’t do anything well. And in a sense are lying to investors .. ideanomics is right. Your buying and idea. An in a very competitive and quick to react market they need to focus on what they can make sizzle. They have something with the EV loop. The positive feedback loop built into there EV business models is where there bread and butter is. They are offering a EV experience, offering a Amazon esque efficiency with ing EV space. Its a huge mistake to try and grow beyond the brand there still building; especially when that’s where they have a market share that even Tesla doesn’t offer.
Ford didn’t buy ice cream shops and banks to get here. Tesla didn’t build rockets and diversify into other sectors till they proved they had the marketing and analytics experience to really focus on aligning there interests with directed projection to produce growth. It’s hard to see idex growing .. while they clearly think they have already made it and just need to sit back and wait for there brands to bear fruit.
I think they are three companies .. it would seem there leadership isn’t on the same page., and they lack clear direction focus and structure. Whose gonna say No were an ev experience company. And how do u compare there fundamentals what sector do they fit in .. real estate ? Manufacturing/industry? Fintech? Retail? And secondly why aren’t they building relationships with or partnerships with these other companies .. why aren’t they partners with other publicly traded companies whose buzz will lift them up. I feel like they will spend capital to support other ventures within producing a longer time to profitability and being priced out of the markets. And how can u grow and be profitable in one biz when u have 10 on the books ? I’m bearish AF on idex and think until they gain prospective and leadership .. they will eventually revisit there <1$ ..
Bearish until there ideas match what there trying to be good at… instead of just shopping for everyone else’s. They need to let those other companies be stand alone organizations who are good at em what they’re doing. And partner with other focused companies that understand there markets and how to benefit IDEX and the space there occupying. With there model and feedback loops built in.. these companies should be approaching them with solutions to simplify and improve there bottom line.
