Okay, so I need to talk to you about one specific Ev stock right now. Is it me Charlie? No. Sorry Neo, It isn't you. The world doesn't always revolve around you, honey.

Is it me Charlie? No, Sorry Ex: Ping I know you were looking cheap and you just got a two billion dollar credit line from the Chinese State Bank. but this time it ain't you either. What about me Charlie, It must be me. Sorry Lordstown Motors.

I know we talked about you a couple weeks ago and you rallied massively yesterday on high reservation news, but it isn't you this time either. Okay Charlie, but it's gotta be me. Solo Vehicles are the future Charlie. Just look how happy this nice handsome gentleman is next to me.

Are you trying to live in the past? Charlie? Please. Single person vehicles are the future. What about me? Charlie Helion Helion The Great. The Achilles Helion.

Well, if you're so great, why do you keep getting knocked down? No, it's not you either. Hi Leon, It would be totally if it means nothing. Well, Nicole is speaking a lot clearer than usual today and no, sorry, it's not you either. Okay, enough beating around the bush.

It's none of these companies. What if I told you that there is a company led by the former chief engineer of the Tesla Model S who joined Tesla in the early stages of 2009 and then left Tesla in 2012 to later join a new Ev company that he'd then take over and use to compete with Tesla? What if I told you that their cars are production ready and are going to be starting to get delivered in Spring of 2021? Yes, this spring. what if I told you that the production cars about to be delivered featured impressive specs and designs that would make them extremely competitive with the current Ev market in the United States. For example, the main model's battery can do 500 miles on a single charge compared to Tesla's best currently available long-range vehicle only being able to handle 402 miles.

And then what if I told you that this company is about to go public via Spack and that there's a huge opportunity for us to ride intense price strength? Well, then we'd be talking about Lucid Motors And before we get any more into this, the only thing that I ask in return for this video and all the work that goes into making a video like this is that you hit that ravishing like button and also subscribe for more videos in the future. Okay, so first thing to know about Lucid Motors: Lucid is apparently in talks with Cciv to go public. If the rumors are confirmed, we'd expect Cciv to rally massively as this is what it's done just on unconfirmed rumors. Imagine what would happen if it actually had confirmed rumors.

This S-pac will allow investors to get in on Lucid prior to it actually going public, and there are generally two different hype periods that we can profit off of as traders when it comes to S-pac plays like this: number one is the hype rally on the rumor of talks, which is what we saw already today, and then the bigger one is the rumor leading up to the actual merger of the S-pac and the company right before a company goes public. Via S-pac they tend to rally massively. We call those pre-anticipatory runs and they are very extreme and very powerful to trade off of. Now, the second thing I want to talk about is what makes Lucid so special.
And the big thing is really the battery. Lucid in the past has designed, developed and manufactured battery packs for the high performance vehicles and formula E-races and in delivering its future cars, including the Lucid Air that will launch this year, Well, Lucid has implanted that experience and heritage into each and every vehicle. It is also worth noting that battery range is one of the most important parts of an Ev car. In order to be competitive, you got to be competitive with that damn battery range.

And like I said earlier, very very competitive range with over 500 miles per charge. The third thing you need to know about Lucid is their first sedan. The Lucid Air is going to be the first vehicle to be delivered and it's right in the price and spec range to compete with the model S. The lower end Air Pure is going to be retailing from 69 900, but the limited edition air goes all the way up to a whooping whopping 161 000 and they will be releasing the variations of the air top down.

so they'll be starting with the most expensive ones that have the highest battery capacity and then they're going to be working their way down. This is very similar, similarito to the Tesla strategy of releasing the most expensive vehicles first and then working your way down. You use the most expensive vehicles with the high margin to pay for the ones that have less margin but are more easily mass produced. and then that's the way that you scale and at a lowest price of 69 900.

The Lucid Air certainly won't be competing with the lower end Evs like the Model 3, but there will be more vehicles in the future. If Lucid has a successful launch of the air, they've already talked about the next project, the Lucid Gravity. The Lucid Gravity will be their Suv. The interesting thing about the luxury electric Suv market in the United States is that there really aren't that many good options.

I mean, the Tesla Model X is billed as an Suv, but I mean, it's very low to the ground. It doesn't have that rugged outdoor feel. When I think of an Suv, I think of a little bit more of a trucky type vehicle. and unfortunately, I feel like most cars these days just don't recognize that.

Going back to my darling Neo, the Neo Es8 in China also has a similar rugged appeal to the Lucid, and honestly, I do not know why more car manufacturers aren't targeting big Suvs that are electric. I mean, there's some, but it's It's not to the same extent that you see in China, and even in China, it's a little bit under equipped. Considering Suvs are wildly popular in North America, I don't know why there isn't really any real Brunty truck chassis type Suv, and the Lucid Gravity seems like a little bit more of a traditional Suv and a little bit more of something that you'd see going outdoors. It's not exactly what I'm looking for.
this is a little bit more close to like the Land Rovers, but still. I think this is a little bit more rugged and something that's a little bit more of a traditional Suv, and I think it would sell very well if it was actually introduced. Lucid claims to be the fastest charging Ev in the space. 20 minutes for a 300 mile charge? That's a big deal, people don't want to wait hours and hours to get charged.

They've also partnered with Electrify America, which provides an extensive realm for their buyers to charge their cars at if they don't want to do it at home or if they can't do it at home. That's a very big practicality feature when combined with the fact that it only takes 20 minutes. Okay, fourth leadership. I'm very impressed with the leadership.

of this company. As I said earlier, it's led by a Ceo who served under Tesla and led the early stages of the Model S. but a lot of Lucid's other directors come from Tesla as well. Eric Bach, Vp of Hardware Engineering worked at Tesla for three years in three months right after the launch of the Model S.

His job was vehicle safety, interior, seating, and craftsmanship. Obviously somebody that's good to have. The Vp of Manufacturing served as Vp of production for Tesla and sounds like a similar role, and he was responsible for factories in Fremont, Lothrop, and Hillberg. And obviously having this sort of experience is very important if you're going to go and work at a Lucid factory.

the Vp of Supply Chain for Lucid was Tesla's Director of Vehicle Systems purchasing. It's almost like this company is a mini Tesla without Elon Musk. I'm not going to go over every single one, but even roles like Director of Sales for Lucid. Oh shocker.

She previously was the head of sales operations at Tesla Motors. So I mean at this point, Lucid is basically an I-ditch Tesla. Let's go compete with Tesla Company, and each of these people bring with them to Lucid. all of the perspectives on what made Tesla successful in the first place.

Now, I'm obviously a big Elon Musk fan and I never dare say that this is going to be anything close to Tesla, but investors are looking for the next Tesla, and it is not going to be hard for Lucid, an aesthetically pleasing electric car company based in California and headed by Tesla's own former leaders to convince investors that this has the potential to be the next Tesla. I think this is going to be a very easy story to sell. And again, I'm all about how can the company sell itself to investors? How can it get the price rally? And I think in terms of that, Lucid has an A Plus. I think in terms of actual value, it probably has a pretty good grade as well.
However, in understanding the relevance of a company like this before it even comes to the market, you have to compare it to similar ones. Recent similar plays were Nikola Fisker and Hylion, all of which were way behind Lucid. I'd argue that Nicholas actually more of a theatrical arts company than an Ev company, but what do I know? I'm just a hater. But anyways, in comparing Lucid, let's start with Fisker.

Well, at the time of its S-pac it doubled on rumors of talks to take Fisk Republic, Then it more than doubled on the lead up to going public, and then of course, it sold off afterwards as well. When I gently say do Not Hold S Packs post merger, people say you don't believe in the future Charlie, You don't believe you're a hater Charlie. But folks, come on, we can walk and chew gum at the same times. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the majority of the time it's more profitable to trade the pre-anticipatory run than it is to trade.

The post reaction hyln was another case study, ran up on rumors of mergers talks, then ran up to merger and then got beat down. Nicola was another one, ran up on merger talks, ran up up to merger, and of course, because this was a hype rally filled with controversies, It ran up tons and tons and tons before it actually got beat down because of their alleged fraud. The point is that these types of plays, including this upcoming one with Lucid? Well, these types of players tend to get a rally in the S-pac stage with the original talks, and then they tend to cool off, and then you tend to get another pre-anticipatory rally up to the merger. And we've seen this a million times.

Everybody knows how S Pack plays trade, but the thing is that Cciv right now is in the beginning rumor stage. and that's why it's so important that I bring this to you. Once this settles down, assuming the lucid deal goes through, we're going to see this stock rally past previous highs probably way way above it, just like we saw the other S Packs play, and there's still a few different catalysts left pre-merger Number one, is them actually confirming that they're going to merge, and then the number two is them actually merging. So be on the lookout for the steel and developments on this deal.

Lucid will be much more valuable to us as an anticipatory S-pac than it will be as a long-term investment. At this stage, I think that after the merger, if we get a huge beat down and the deliveries go well, well, I'd consider it as a longer term position, but at this point it's a little too early to say let's get some cars on the road first. Okay, and quick. Bonus: What is my updated take on Xpev? Well, Xpev announced that they got 2 billion in credit from China state-owned banks and this is why I like China so much.

Despite that added China risk, love, or Hate China, they will do anything in their power to make sure their domestic companies that they like succeed. This is of course, a double-edged sword as many of you know, because if China then decides they don't like you, it goes the opposite way. But during the stage that they like you, well, you get help like this. Neo had similar help in early 2020.
But anyways, the run on this news today was huge and this is the benefit of putting the work in to find catalysts in the pre-market I actually briefed on this Catalyst for Xpev this morning and our daily morning briefings for Ziptrader You members and it ended up running massively. As you can see now, not all of our Catalyst plays run the way that we want them to. That's not the point. The point is that putting in the work to identify the catalysts that are moving the market every single day.

The idea is that it's very valuable to put that work in so that you can prepare and be ready for these moves. And whether you are or aren't a part of Zip Trader, use morning briefings well. You should still be aware that there are tons of opportunities for those who are diligent in searching them out in the pre-market But in terms of Xpev as a stock, we've been talking about this one as undervalued for a few weeks now, and whether it has a rocky road to recovery or not. I see this as going back to its highs in the next three to six months.

Anyways, folks, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us in the comments section below or join us on the lovely Ziptrader Circle facebook group if you'd like to learn how to trade, would like access to our daily morning briefings and of course our private chat. I like TANH mini conglomerate – EVs including driverless sweepers + covid play, other stuff, real producing fast growing company, reasonably priced on fundamentals unlike other EV companies. Plus still cheap now after offering and running back up fast.

I may sound like an idiot, but I’m only 17 and new to this lol. So if I invest in CCIV and they partner with Lucid I’d basically be investing in Lucid, right?

I m a bit new with investing and stock market in general, so pardon if this question is silly, I'm considering buying CCIV stock, let's say they get a deal and the price continues upwards, I am still a bit concerned about Lucid's vehicle prices, the quality seems top notch but if even their cheapest model is 77k, can they really be profitable when it's barely accessible to a middle class? Sure, the stock's value might continue rising but as a long term investment can it really compete with Tesla, which's cheapest model is twice as low?
